Attic Vision
Our vision for Attic Ministries Outreach is to help people know they are forgiven and show them God’s unconditional love. We want addicts and recovering addicts to make a full recovery in Jesus Christ through reconciliation, restoration and redemption; to accept them where they are and not judge them for their mistakes; to show them unconditional love whether they are stil l using or not. The road to recovery can be very long and treacherous. They need grace, patience and much prayer. It’s our job to accept them and reach them, and God’s job to heal them. We refer them to programs and resources to help in their recovery.
What We Do
We reach out to those in need physically, emotionally and spiritually like victims of abuse. Our desire is to help them gain strength to move forward whether they are adults, youths or children - no matter how old or young. On the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month, we minister to those on the streets. We prayer walk and minister to those we meet along the way if they want us to by giving them a t-shirt and praying for them. We do our best to be advocates for them and help them walk through the process of finding and using the resources available to them; connect them with discipleship programs, counseling, state agencies, etc. We also minister in the Cowlitz County Jail, and we try to be available 24/7 so anyone in crisis can get the help they need, whether it is prayer or a hospital visit.
